As numerous teams of trained Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers continue to minister in flood-ravaged Louisiana, positive news continues to become known even among the devastation, reports Mark Wakefield, disaster relief, and chaplaincy ministry strategist.

On Wednesday, as one of the Alabama Baptist chaplains shared the Gospel and a man prayed to receive Christ, several Oklahoma Baptists stopped what they were doing in order to intercede in prayer for the chaplain and the man.

Contributions may also be sent by checks made payable to Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, P.O. Box 11870, Montgomery, AL 36111, for “Louisiana Flood Relief.”
All contributions designated to “Louisiana Flood Relief” will be used entirely for the current disaster relief effort to help people in flood-ravaged areas of Louisiana.
