Multiple tornadoes hit Alabama overnight; kills 3

While the storm system that blew through the Southeast late-November was a welcomed hope for rain for some in extreme drought areas, it was an unwelcome guest for others who were hit by 130-mph winds and damage that appeared to be from two EF-2 tornadoes, according to the National Weather Service.

Three people were reported dead at press time from storms that hit the area.
