Hurricane Matthew

As Hurricane Matthew has impacted Haiti and coastal states of the eastern U.S., Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief stands ready to deploy personnel and resources. We are in touch with ministry partners, especially Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, about when and where volunteers and other resources will be most effective.

Current assessments are that Alabama DR assistance is needed in Florida. The Alabama large feeding unit, shower trailers, admin, skid steer, and chaplain units will deploy as early as Sunday 10/9 for Florida.

Those who wish to contribute may send checks payable to: Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, P.O. Box 11870, Montgomery, AL 36111-0870. Mark checks for “Hurricane Matthew Relief.” A full 100 percent of all such contributions will be used to help people that are impacted by Hurricane Matthew.

Contributions via credit card may be made online at SBDR.org/donate.
