We have been in contact with Columbia Associational Coordinator, Ken Farley, last night and again this morning regarding storm damage in the Dothan and surrounding areas. It is reported that there is damage and assessments are underway.
The local power company has restricted access into a neighborhood with approx. 14 homes that have sustained damage. Local leadership stands ready to enter the area once permission is granted.
I have extended our willingness to support the effort if it is determined that additional teams are required. At this point the damage seems to be limited. Please remember those involved with ministry for their communities in the wake of last night’s severe weather.
