Alabama D/R Volunteers have once again responded with teams moving into communities at daylight this morning. Pickens Association is assisting with debris removal along a 10 mile stretch of County Road 75 in Pickens County. The Tuscaloosa Chainsaw Cleanup/Recovery team will be on site Saturday to assist. Walker Association’s team has been placed on Alert should additional resources be required.
Further to the south and east, Tuskegee/Lee Association is responding today in the Notasulga community and will remain engaged with cleanup efforts as long as they are needed. Additional teams for both areas are available and prepared to respond if needed.
It is a blessing to see Alabama D/R volunteers respond so quickly in these communities. The ministry and cooperation from Alabama Baptists for those impacted by last night’s storms is a testament to Alabama’s Great Commission commitment.
