Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief has received confirmed and preliminary damage reports resulting from a possible tornado impact in the Limestone County area of Athens. Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief leadership is in contact with local Emergency Management. Area District Coordinators have been placed on “Alert” status and damage assessment will commence as weather permits.
Additional storm systems are moving out of Mississippi and into western Alabama. There are no confirmed damage reports from western Alabama at this time.
